Tea Cozy Sizing Guide:
Standard size works well for teapots at about 6-cups and up to 8-cups, large coffee mugs
and small French presses. This size fits our Chantal tea steep teapot.
Personal size is for small 2-3 cup up to a tight six-cup teapots. A standard size is a more
versatile choice. This size fits our 1 quart Chantal teapot.
If you are in doubt: remember that the larger of two sizes you are considering will be more
versatile.
Tea Cozy Care:
Decorator prints are usually intended to be dry cleaned. Washing them with detergents in a
washing machine will quickly cause most of them to shrink and lose their "hand" or crisp
appearance, color, and shape.
We have, however, stretched the dry cleaning rule slightly... and occasionally give our cotton
blend and fleece covers a liquid dish soap and luke warm water spot cleaning. An occasional
full lukewarm hand bath in liquid dish soap with drip drying and an iron touch up controls
even the worst grime. Tapestries should only be dry cleaned.
